Pragati Offset Pvt. Ltd. has won the title of ‘SAPPI International Printer of the Year 2006’ in the 'Catalogues' category. This prestigious annual competition organized by SAPPI – the largest coated paper manufacturer in the world – was held in Budapest, Hungary on October 27, 2006.

Pragati is the first printing company from the Asian, Australian and South/Central American region to win this International Award. This award was earlier won only by printers from North America, Europe and South Africa.

The winning entries for the SAPPI International Printer of the Year 2006 were chosen from 33 finalists selected from 7,000 entries from all over the world. Pragati won this award in the ‘Catalogues’ category for the book printed for Omega Watches, Switzerland. This book entered the fray for the International trophy after it won the Gold Awards at the Asian Printer of the Year competition held in Kuala Lumpur in June 2006.

Pragati Offset has won multiple awards at the SAPPI Asian Printer of the Year competition since its inception in 2000 and won an unprecedented number of 4 Gold Awards at the 2004 Event creating history. Pragati was the runner-up in the International Printer of the Year 2004 competition held in Cape Town, South Africa, and was declared the ‘SAPPI Trading Printer of the Year 2004’ for their best performance within the Asian, Australian and South/Central American regions. Pragati also won numerous national awards including Best Printer in India and SAARC regions.
